Actually the term may be "recommendation" that you stay at the pump-similar to legal Notices on the pump that recommend that you NOT use cell phones or smoke near a pump. Gas pump operations are governed by the State, not local laws. That's why "recommendation" notices are posted at the pumps - it's not a law or requirement you stay at the pump! We checked! -
